Great advice as usual Sandy. I love how you said “there are plenty of other days to go crazy and have fun with fashion”. There’s nothing worse than being at a special event and not feeling 100% at ease with your outfit.

I’ve been surfing on-line more than 3 hours lately, yet I
never found any interesting article like yours.

It’s lovely worth sufficient for me. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made excellent content material as you did, the internet can be much more
    useful than ever before.

GREAT advice, Sandy! I think my biggest fashion challenge is when a new look is all the rage and I just can’t figure out if it’s “me” or not. I don’t want my look to get stale, but I don’t want to look like I’m playing dress-up either. I love your message about Sofia Vergara…I will keep that in mind!!

Hi April I am all about the fit first. Clothing is a visual vocabulary so make sure its sending the right message but don’t be afraid to experiment either, it can be so much fun finding new looks. Baby steps: start with one garment or accessory instead of an entire look until you feel comfortable in your choices.

This is such fantastic advice! I totally agree it’s great to try something new and step our of one’s comfort zone, but it makes sense not to put so much pressure on at a fancy event. I love traditional, genuine looks, classic pieces with a touch of style. My biggest struggle these days is feeling classy yet comfortable. I love your site and image choices!

Thank you Jul’s! There are so many choices to look chic and comfortable. I will put it on my list for blog topics! Great inspiration…!

Great advice Sandy! Go with what you know looks good on you for important events, experiment on days when you can get honest feedback from someone who knows you well.
